What is Perlastan OCV?

PERLASTAN OCV is used as a metal corrosion inhibitor additive for hydrophobic and hydrophilic agents. It is also used as an additive for metals. Perlastan OCV is hydrophobic and acidic in nature.
Neutralization can be done with MEA, TEA, long-chain amines, acids, KOH, NaOH, etc.
It activates amphiphilic properties.

• Good wetting and washing performance
• High efficiency in inhibiting metal corrosion
• Compatibility with oxidizers
• Chemical stability even at extremely high pH

Application

Chemisorption processes on metal surfaces lead to the formation of dense monolayers, which act as a protective shield even at low anti-corrosion levels.
Practical applications: processing industry, ship hull sheets, cleaning agents and lubricants, oils and fuels.

Recommended usage concentration

• Cleaning agents: 1.0 – 5.0%
• Industrial lubricants: 0.1 – 0.3%
• Lubricants: 0.1 – 0.5%
• Anti-rust fluids: 0.5 – 1.0%
• Metalworking fluids: 0.05 – 1.0%
