Antiviral light bulbs
An Extraordinary Light Bulb for Special Tasks
Our LED bulbs emit electromagnetic radiation while simultaneously transmitting infrared (IR) radiation released by a special coating made from a composition of microcrystals of thirty natural rare-earth minerals. As a result, the unique properties of our product reach everywhere the bulb’s light reaches.
The application of this solution may revolutionize the production of bactericidal and virucidal lamps, which have traditionally relied on the emission of radiation harmful to living organisms (including humans), such as UV radiation with a wavelength of 286 nm. Our products are free from such radiation. Instead, they emit infrared radiation that is harmless to humans, with a wavelength range of 2–16 µm.
The foundation for the development of our bulbs comes from scientific research conducted by British scientists on the combination and transmission of infrared (IR) waves of different wavelengths over long distances.
Publications by an American–Chinese research consortium on combating bacteria using infrared (IR) radiation of appropriate wavelengths were also utilized, analogous to the technology applied in our T-shirts and underwear.
This solution can also be applied to virus deactivation. Tests conducted at the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences demonstrated that the emission of the above-mentioned light radiation combined with infrared radiation resulted in the deactivation of 99.9% of Adenovirus type 5 within 3 hours.
This is therefore a groundbreaking solution with patent potential.
The composition can be applied directly to LED bulbs or to decorative covers made of nonwoven fabric. In addition, decorative lamps made from imported (Italian) components with unique, distinctive designs can be produced to special order.
